Jeff Holker serves as the Managing Director of Sales for the Americas Region, and is a Member of msg global solutions’ US Board of Directors. He is responsible for sales performance and client success across industries in partnership with SAP sales leadership.
Jeff brings more than 30 years of experience in solutions consulting, marketing and sales to help clients deploy technology to support more informed decisions and improved business outcomes. His functional alignment is typically directed towards the Office of Finance, but intersects with other functional operations within an enterprise who rely on these solutions to support critical business processes.
Jeff spent half his career in various financial management leadership positions before moving into broader strategy and consulting roles centered around helping companies deploy software solutions to improve operational process effectiveness and more seamless collaboration across the organization.
After working in the Ernst & Young cost management consulting practice, he joined Andersen Windows to design and deploy business processes and supporting systems centered around modernizing and streamlining their Sales and Marketing processes and teams, and followed that with a complete overhaul of their complex distribution system. He then moved to an equity-owned software company, Adaytum, to run Product Marketing and drive top-line and product excellence to position the organization for sale. After being acquired by Cognos, he created the Cognos Innovation Center for Performance Management focused on partnering with customers to ensure their success with Cognos’ solutions in exchange for support around critical marketing and sales initiatives.
When IBM acquired Cognos in 2008, Jeff continued his work in the Innovation Center, and expanded his role to focus on improving top-line growth through a more effective sales process in partnership with Innovation Center customers and a consortium of industry/business process thought leaders within and outside IBM.
Jeff is married and the father of a 24-year-old daughter who lives in New York. He and his wife split their time between Minneapolis, Ely, Minnesota, and Savannah, Georgia. When not working, Jeff enjoys anything involving a book, a racquet, golf clubs, two wheels, skates, or hiking boots/climbing shoes—and a camera will always be present given his passion for photography!
